Photo from our last show at The International Quilt Festival in Chicago, Illinois in mid April.  Kirk was on board to give Paula a hand.  We received a shipment directly from Kyrgyzstan and we really had too much merchandise to fit in to a 10x10 space.  The multi-colored slippers with the turned up toes were our hottest selling item with Kirk playing role of shoe salesman.  Lots of new contacts made.  There was some talk amongst event organizers about putting up a major exhibition of Kyrgyz textile art at a future show in Houston.  That would be so exiting.  Paula'a dream come true.

Aida just opened her new shop in Bishkek selling textile products from India.  She calls her place Kyrgyz India Connection.  She has the whole family working for her.  From left, Aigirim, Aida's youngest sister, Aida, Jildyz, her sister in law and her cousin Asel.
Good luck Aida with your new business!  We know it will be a success, because we all went shopping mad at KIC when we were in Bishkek in May.  So many cute clothes!

This is a photo from our show at The Paris Gibson Square in Great Falls last November.  We are going to be back in the Collectors Gallery again this November with a whole new collection of merchandise.  This year we are going to feature the artwork of 4 of the artisans we work with in Kyrgyzstan.  Come in and have a look.  It will be up the whole month of November.
